Evanston Roof Leak

The bedroom was taken down to the studs to remove all wet materials.

Sometimes roof leaks are small and contained, other times, they can wreak havoc on the whole home. Unfortunately for one home owner in Evanston, the latter was their fate. A significant roof leak caused damage in this home throughout the entire upstairs and main level. As you can see in the image, this home had to be taken down to the studs. The walls and ceilings needed to be removed in order to remove any wet insulation behind the walls. Luckily the homeowner acted quick enough and got her roof repaired. As soon as that was done SERVPRO was called so this homeowner was able to avoid any microbial growth, thus limiting any other possible damages. SERVPRO was able to get the entire home dried out in just a matter of days, making way for the next step which is reconstruction. SERVPRO handled the reconstruction as well and the home owner was extremely happy with the entire process.
