Window collapse due to weight of water.

When flooding happens, it can pool up and damage trees, cars,  and sometimes bust though a window. This is what happened to this home Evanston, Illinois.The weight of the water collecting in the window well caused the window to burst and water to flood into the home. Glass , mud, and debris saturated the carpet and walls. SERVPRO of Evanston was onsite in short order to begin cleaning the mess.

Any wet items were thrown out or cleaned and placed into a new box at customer's request. All the carpet was removed as well as wet insulation. The baseboards were detached with holes cored beneath the trim line to help dry the basement fully. All floors were cleaned and disinfected. The customer was very happy with the work done.
